TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have ample experience student teaching all grades during undergrad, and then many School Counseling internships throughout graduate school. I have worked full-time at the Elementary and High School levels.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am student-centered and what I call "go with the flow"! I understand that lessons/groups don't always go as planned, and that's okay. What matters is getting my message through to the children in a way that's meaningful for them. I'm never afraid to jump ship in the middle of a lesson if it's not working and develop Plan B!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.A. in Human Development and a B.A. in Psychology. I was blessed enough to have the ability to stay for my Master's in Counseling; go Hokies!
