TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for over 18 years and I truly love what I do! I have a Specialist degree in Primary Education and although I am a designated K-5 teacher, I enjoy working with in the primary grades most (k-2). I am currently teaching Kindergarten.

Do self-proclaimed awards count? lol

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from York University, what seems like a million years ago, with a B.A. and B.Ed. I majored in Psychology - what a fascinating field! I continued to advance my career in Education by getting my first Specialist in Primary Education (who can resist those little ones, dirty fingers and all). I continued to take more university courses (University of Toronto, Drake University) until I finally discovered I knew everything I needed to know, and that's where I stand today (kidding, of course).

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I'm a lucky mom of two beautiful children who keep me pretty busy. Between that and teaching full time I have little time to myself (not complaining). One of my passions is writing - I have written several books: Words, Lucky Me, Freshly Baked Pie, The Three Witty Goats Gruff. I am currently working on my next publication - a collection of my poems and short stories. Feel free to visit me here: Author Website - www.lorarozler.com Writing Blog - www.wordsonalimb.com.
