Add this to your Odyssey Unit. This is a very engaging and timely activity that deals with a piece of classic literature that is essential to the goals of the Common Core. Students race to collect textual evidence in disguise as character tweets. After the data collection on several topics, students jigsaw and examine one of the topic sheets. The discussion of this material will become material for a constructed response. I love to make learning a game and this is the ultimate example of that. I

Environmental issues of Europe stations clue hunt
This is a wonderful resource for any Social Studies classroom. It covers the Georgia standard SS6G8 : Explain environmental issues in Europe. It can also be used for Earth Day. I created this station activity for my own social studies classroom. Our district is focusing on incorporating literacy standards in all subject areas.
