How much GPS / GIS should be in our lives?
GPS and GIS are technologies that work behind the screen to run many parts of our digital lives. While we don't always see them at work, we use GIS when we get a targeted ad, or find a local restaurant. This presentation covers the ethics and use of GPS / GIS tech in our lives, as well as the ethics and legal issues involved. You can modify this for any level, or expand upon it with other GIS / GPS activities. This can be used along with social studies, history, or STEM units to discuss issues
