This book is a fun introduction for children to know the varied origin of numbers. They practice writing ancient numerals, as well! It is a good way to share understanding of the variations. Use it in lieu of an assessment or for a project grade. Thanks so much for visiting and supporting our humble shop. It is good to note we still retain bits of the ancient world. PERCENTAGE PROJECT: A CROSS-CURRICULAR MATH ACTIVITY
This project includes an introduction, application, chart usage and percentage, creating a chart, history of math, as well as diagramming percentage problems. It includes some science in the fields of anatomy, and geology. Cross-curricular activities help students take a math process, and make sense of their world in its usage. Excelsior! Decimals Scavenger Hunt
This scavenger hunt project requires students to locate 22 items containing decimals. Students use the internet, newspapers and magazines to locate items, as well as find household items that contain decimals (cover of a box of cereal). Supplemental, optional, and culminating activities are listed. Activities are also suggested for individualizing activity for student needs.
