Students read a short passage, play a simulation in which they hunt moths in a "light" or "dark" forest to experience being a part of natural selection, then write two Claim-Evidence-Reasoning responses using quantitative data (table + graph) and qualitative data (pictures of the forests with the moths) to explain why the moth population went from light to dark, then back to light again as the industrial revolution progressed.
