I developed this collection of songs to help my students transition in the classroom throughout the day. I chose a variety of old tv theme songs of varying lengths. When I click a song, students know immediately where they are supposed to go or what they are supposed to do by the end of the song. For example, when they hear the Andy Griffith theme song, students know to immediately line up silently and be ready by the time the song is over. It works perfectly and the kids love it! I also ha

Dr. King - Martin Luther King Poem for Kids

Dr. King is the perfect poem to teach kids about getting along. Use in a poetry notebook, as the poem of the week, to anchor friendship and MLK lessons, or let the kids color to present their poems on a bulletin board display. After I introduce the poem, my kids LOVE going to the Build a Poem: Dr. King pocket chart center. They use the word cards to build the poem, then present it to the class :)** This includes 2 versions. One with "color" and one with "colour". You May Also Be Interested

So, for example, if I want a 1-minute transition, I might choose "59 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" which is 59 seconds, or "103 Scooby Doo" which is 1 minute and 3 seconds. It gives the
