In this introductory lesson, students acquaint themselves with plants by researching (in pairs) online, then checking their knowledge and note-taking by completing crossword puzzles and playing online games for repetition. Also included in the lesson are guided notes, foldables, and pictures to be used to create analogies.

This is a Smart Response Clicker Quiz about S. E. Hinton and the 1960s. It can be done as a pre-reading activity for The Outsiders novel. There is an activity in my store that students can complete before giving them this quiz. There is also a paper version of the quiz in my store, as well.

Anzac Day Assembly Presentation
A simple overview to commemorate Anzac Day in the form of a school assembly.
The Presentation has aspects embedded as well as images and information. There is an additional 'WORD DOC" which accompanies this presentation which is suitable for student leaders to present to the community.
The assembly lasts for about 30 mins depending on whether a song is sung/used and whether or not a visiting speaker is present.
