Islamic Art and Images of Muhammad: Islam's Influence on Art History and Style
Islam is a large world religion with a complex history. In an effort to share some of that complexity, this lesson uses primary and secondary sources to show how the faith has influenced the history and style of Islamic art. Because of the complexity, I chose to address this topic in a detailed way with the awareness that it is not encompassing of all sects of Islam.
