This is a simple one-page JPEG that you can enlarge and print for the classroom, or use as a handout or journal insert.
In my approach to dance and choreography, I think of four basic elements, with the acronym "BEST:" Body, Energy, Space, and Time. These are the What, How, Where, and When of dance!
This sheet lists the elements with some of their sub-elements and is useful both for creating and for analyzing dances.

Place one of these posters on each of your walls to increase lateral spatial awareness. I use these in the music room and students refer to them during movement activities, passing games, hand positioning for recorders or mallets, etc. If students have trouble remembering their left and right, they can find the answer themselves instead of asking the teacher or their neighbor.
