A clock template that can be used as a craft with the students. Hands of clock are cut out and attached to the face using a fastener. This allows the students to move the hands. This colourful version was adapted for the Measurement and Geometry strand of the Australian Curriculum. The teacher or group leader calls out figures in mL or L or percentages/fractions of a L and students mark their grids accordingly.

Using Inches and Feet to Measure Our Bodies
This is a recording sheet for students to practice using measuring tape to measure their bodies. I had them work with a buddy and demonstrated how to use string to measure round things (like their heads). They had a BLAST doing this activity! There are 9 body parts to measure altogether and they are all appropriate. This was used in a 6th-8th grade life skills class, but could be used for any lower elementary math class.

This is a fun, hands-on way to teach graphing to younger students. All you need is this worksheet and a box or bag of Goldfish crackers (the one that says "Colors" on the box). Give each student a handful, have them color in the boxes above each color of Goldfish, and then they can enjoy them as a snack!!
