This might save you a bit of time. This is a unit plan we used for Year 1 (aligned to Australian Curriculum) to introduce day and night topics, seasons, weather, simple information reports on Australian animals, a variety of art techniques, personal memories, natural, constructed and managed features, local mapping and directions. As I can't put direct links to resources used, I've tried to put a photo and a reference so you can find and buy the resources we used yourself.
