Hi all! I saw a picture simliar to this online but couldn't find a hard copy to be able to print and use it in my classroom. I took the idea I saw in the picture and put my own little spin on it and created a word document that I could print and share! After reading a Martin Luther book to my students I had them create this adorable little craft and write what they learned about Dr. Martin Luther and wrote what their dream for the world is. ENJOY!

They fill out the information part and then draw a picture of what that hero is famous for.This could pair well with any book about a civil rights changemaker causing "good trouble" like Ruby Bridges, Dr King, Claudette Colvin, John Lewis, or anyone else from that time period!

Martin Luther King Jr MLK poem/rap performed originally for Rosa Parks
This was actually written by me in 1994 and performed at a board meeting in front of Rosa Parks a few years prior to her death. I have had many groups of children perform this and it is always a big hit with parents, kids, and teachers. Feel free to change a few words to fit your own rhythm, but please don’t change the meaning.
