This lesson teaches the students the basic parts, basic function, and the needs of plants. Students can interact with the Smartboard lesson by using a spinning vortex to answer what a plant needs. Students can also use the cause/effect and main idea interactive graphic organizers placed throughout the lesson to help them learn this information.
