Empowering Writer's Narrative Writing
This is a guided packet that I use when working on narrative writing. I start with mini lessons for leads, setting, suspense, main event... and so on. I use mentor texts and the examples in Empowering Writer's. The students practice writing a few leads and later they can pick which one they like.
