This activity directs students to read the Bill of Rights, then write what the amendments mean in their own words, then draw a picture to represent the meaning of each amendment in the boxes provided. The file is designed to be stand alone notes or cut apart to fit into an interactive notebook. This assignment has greatly improved student understanding of the Bill of Rights in middle school and high school classrooms that I have used it in.
