Pi Day Scavenger Hunt
Take Students on a Scavenger Hunt Through the Digits of Pi! Students will use the search feature to find digits that occur in the first million digits of pi, such as their own phone number, repeating digits, and unique numbers found in the real world. At the end, students are given early finisher tasks such as writing a song about pi, creating an artistic representation of pi, and memorizing the digits of pi. This makes for a perfect pi day activity! This activity also incorporates Bible verses
Introduction to Graphing Lesson with Power Point and Assignment
This presentation includes a lot of the basic terms that students need to build a base for future mathematics courses. These principles are used in geometry, algebra, and trigonometry. I have used this as low as the eighth grade level and collegiate courses.
