Stamp Act Analysis! There are two sides to every story, and in this case, there are two sides to the story of British taxation. In this lesson, students are given four abridged excerpts of primary source documents about the Stamp Act. Two documents are written by British officials or groups, the other two are written by American colonists/groups.
Students will be challenged to see the Stamp Act from two different perspectives and synthesize the stances in order to identify the main argument
