Each page has several lines for a student response, as well as a box to draw a picture of the journal entries. These half sheets are to be cut out and given to students one at a time. Use this science activity for students to discover their sense of smell! Place a cotton ball into five different small tupperware containers. Choose four different strong smelling liquids, such as vinegar, lemon juice, vanilla, peppermint, etc, and pour a little bit onto each cotton ball.
