Use these Kitchen Math & Fractions Slides to help students understand these concepts before cooking in the kitchens! I have noticed that a lot of students struggle with measurements and fractions so I came up with a lesson to hopefully help students grasp these concepts a little better! Jim Crow Image Presentation
This download provides links to a Prezi and a Google Slides presentation (downloadable as a Powerpoint) of Jim Crow photos. These photos were available on websites, so I am not charging, but I did put them together to use as a presentation. I also added some segregation photos from my own life as a resident of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which is one of the most segregated cities in America.
If you're teaching To Kill a Mockingbird, you've probably gone to Jim Crow websites, so this is nothing new.
