To help students experiment with the efficiency of pinwheels with different numbers of blades, this file has templates for pinwheels with 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 blades. I recommend using stiff paper or thin cardboard. Pin them to the eraser of a pencil and hold vertically to blow on them.
