Water Cycle: Gonna make you Jump Jump

Students role-play as WATER and cycle through the ecosystem. Students simulate being water and get an in person experience as to where and how water makes its way in and out of living things. My favorite quote from the experience is when a student said, "I feel bad for water. Having to move around so much." Nothing beats having to physically be the molecules.

A high interest, fun, hands on lab experience for students ranging from 6th-12th grade. Use as either an introduction or a review of the concept.

The experience has built in ENL and special education modifications to allow all learners access to the curriculum (developed with a co-teacher). The experience has been tested and implemented with well over 100 students to ensure quality.

Lab station materials provided along with a student worksheet.

Questions at the end of the lesson asses understanding.

Additional supplies needed: D6 dice.
