I am a current 7th grade science teacher. I have 15+ years of experience. Through student teaching and real world experience I have engaged with all grades. My lessons mostly focus on Middle/High School level.
I believe students should be instructed in "experiences". Students should be presented an experience that they will be able to reflect upon. Much of my instruction is hands on, with total participation techniques built in. Simulations, role-playing, and imagination is at the cornerstone of great instruction in science.
