Hey there! I’m Jess, and I taught college-level agriculture for 8 years. Growing up on a farm, I’ve always had a deep-rooted passion for the land and its bounties. Although I'm no longer teaching in the classroom, I still love to share my passion for agriculture and shape a more sustainable and equitable future.
I like to keep things lively in the classroom with active learning techniques that get students moving and thinking. Whether it's print or digital, I love embedding diverse resources into my classes to keep things fresh and engaging. Agriculture is my passion, but I’m not blind to its flaws. I’m all about teaching students to appreciate the field while also pushing for a more sustainable industry.

When I’m not teaching, you can find me practicing meditation and mindfulness. It’s all about balance, right? And speaking of balance, one thing I wish more people knew is how agriculture can harmonize with environmental and social goals—when we prioritize them, of course.
