TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been an 8th grade teacher for six years. I teach ELA and focus almost exclusively on Composition, so I've spent a lot of time thinking about how to support students and their writing!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I focus almost exclusively on writing, so I do a significant amount of writer's workshop. I believe in writing as a cycle, and I believe in specific, targeted, standards-based feedback for students.
