TEACHING EXPERIENCE

While I taught Junior High for 2 years after college, for the past 13 years I have taught a variety of History courses at the High School level.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I tend to structure units into 2-week blocks with an emphasis on student autonomy and simulated experience. I tend to introduce material via traditional notes and then flesh out with a simulation, Socratic Discussion, or a review worksheet utilizing a combination of written and drawn responses.
