I've been an elementary school teacher since 1987 in Los Angeles, California and in Woodburn, Oregon since 2001. I'm also a university professor, specializing in online classes in education for teachers and pre-service teachers. I received my PhD in Educational Technology in 2010, and my Masters Degree in Education (Bilingual Education Specialization) in 2004. I love teaching and learning!
I am a great fan of Howard Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligences, and I try to differentiate instruction to meet all my students' needs. I'm very theatrical in my K-5 classroom, teaching writing and math skills to students through the use of technology. I enjoy teaching online and working with educators in far away places that I would never have the opportunity to meet if not for technology.
