TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have enjoyed teaching for the past 15 years with children from 6 weeks to 6th grade! I have taught in public schools, a charter school and child care centers in urban, rural and suburban settings in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York State. Now I have a Blog and Membership site to help 3-5 teachers save time and enjoy teaching MORE! www.classroomtuneup.com It is full of free resources and ideas to run your classroom like a well oiled machine!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love using books and project based learning to excite and encourage students to love learning and to be curious about the world around them. I am excited about the NGSS Science Standards and love to develop step by step science labs for my students. Games are the way to go if you want to engage students! I create new Jeopardy style games every month for my kids to review, learn and have a little friendly competition!
