TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Taught grades K through 8 in several schools and in several states! Most of my time has been spent teaching Junior High students and 5th grade students, with emphasis on Language Arts and Social Studies!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I usually offer a variety of projects and address the varied interest levels in the classroom. Using lots of interaction and storytelling, my students enjoy participating and monitoring their growth over the school year! Reader's and Writer's workshops lend to variety and interaction as well as independence, and my Social Studies classes "tell the story" of American History.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Women's History Award Recipient - PA state award. Teacher of the Year in my school in NJ. Recipient of Grants to study both master's courses and American History

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Bachelor's Degree in Business - Marketing Master's Degree in Elementary and Special Education Highly qualified certification for both Language Arts and Social Studies
