I have 12+ years of teaching experience at all grade levels in high school including Honors and AP as well as dual enrollment (community college level) ENG101/102 teaching experience. Curriculum design and lesson planning is a passion of mine, and so I share the best I've got on TPT!
I enjoy both a classic lecture style and hands-on student-led discovery learning. While there are a number of concepts that simply need to be taught to the students, the vast majority of my lessons include components that use a variety of engaging teaching methods such as think-pair-share, peer coaching, and group discussions and debates. My lessons are always aligned to Common Core standards!
