TEACHING EXPERIENCE

As an English/Language Arts teacher, I have been privileged to teach students in grades 7-12 in a wide variety of settings. I was blessed to spend three years teaching 7th and 8th grade at a Title I middle school before moving to a high school where I am able to teach a wide variety of subjects, including Advanced Placement English courses, graphic design courses, and historically focused courses.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe the purpose of education is to help students develop a passion for learning, and help them become productive and responsible citizens. To aid students in this journey of self-discovery, I employ a pedagogy orientated toward social justice.
