TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for 14 years now. I am currently teaching 8th grade Language Arts, but I have also taught 4th and 5th grade. I am also a National Board Certified teacher for 8th grade ELA.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I work hard to make learning fun and relevant for my students. I love to create project based learning activities that make them take an active role in their education. I also think that small group instruction is a wonderful way to reach the needs of each student. While it can be tough to master, after a lot of trial and error, I was able to make it work in my classroom.
