I enjoy helping others discover new information that can change their life. My early teaching experience began with musical instruction for grade school children and homeschooling my daughter for her 7th grade year. With the advancement of my education, I had the opportunity to teach adult psycho-educational subjects in the criminal justice system such as communication, processing emotions and coping skills to adults with mental health and substance abuse issues. Lastly, as a licensed minister I enjoy teaching individual and group topics such as, Spiritual formation, Discipleship, and Relationships.
I would say my teaching style is to excite others with the possibility of positive change. I enjoy the transfer of excitement regardless of the subject. I am passionate about what I do and project this energy on to others during the learning process. I live for the possibility of improvement!
Although I have not received any formal rewards thus far, as many teachers may agree, the reward of making a positive difference in someone's life is sufficient recognition for me.
