TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught Spanish 1-4 (different levels in different years) to High Schoolers for 9 years. I have a Master's Degree in Educational Technology and in Spanish Linguistics. I have a great passion for learning a foreign language, for reading comprehension strategies (for which I have some training), and am working on resources which hit the different levels of the SAMR model of technology integration. Over the past 10 years I have also taught classes and lead small groups at my church.

MY TEACHING STYLE

For Spanish language learners, I believe what works best is a blend of comprehensible input, practice for internalization and explicit instruction of structures and vocabulary.
