I have 27 years of teaching experience in a small town, rural school district. I have taught freshmen, sophomores, juniors, honors freshmen, honors sophomores and honors juniors.
I try very hard to incorporate both left-brain and right-brain focused assignments. It is critical to me that my students know how to apply what they have learned. I'm a bit more formal with my honors sophomores and honors juniors in the type of assignments I offer, but discussion is key to all of my classes. I love laughter in the classroom and want my students to view me as a lifelong learner, not someone with all of the answers.
