I started teaching first grade in 1999 at the same elementary school that I attended as a child in Lennox, California! In 2006, my family and I moved to Surprise, Arizona. I picked up right where I left off, and I continue to teach first grade!
I have a lot of patience, but great expectations of my kiddos. I am certain of their capabilities!
Every year I grow as a teacher! Everyday there is something to celebrate in the classroom!
I received a Liberal Studies Bachelor's Degree from Cal State Dominguez Hills in Carson, California. I then received my teaching credential and Master's Degree in Education from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California.
Although I feel teaching has gotten more and more challenging, I love and appreciate the role I was given. I have a beautiful, big family that I love with all of my heart, and wonderful friends. What else can I ask for?
