By Mr and Mrs D dull to dynamic I have taught for 15 years mainly in 9th grade physical science and history. My wife has taught for 7 years mainly in 6th grade ELA.
I believe in learning by doing! Experience is the best teacher. I try to implement many projects to keep students engaged in the learning process to display their knowledge through providing choice and opportunity for students to demonstrate their mastery of a subject. Additionally, I try to gamify my classroom as much as possible. Using competitions, breakouts, and escape rooms I strive to engage students with the material at a higher level than merely completing worksheets.
