Graphing Quadratics Song Chain
This is a cut and tape colored musical "chain" activity used to practice graphing quadratic equations. The teacher should print the activity on three different colored pieces of paper for each student. The student then cuts out the pieces and tapes them in order to create a colored chain by matching the quadratic equation to its graph. With "Justin Bieber fever" being so contagious in my 5th grade classroom, I decided to make new words to Bieber's popular "Boyfriend" song. The lyrics are fast moving and review the concept of erosion. It was a big hit in my classroom. Even the "Bieber haters" were converted. We sang along with the YouTube.
