These mats were created especially for a 100th Day celebration! Students sort fruit loop cereal by color on the first mat. Students then transfer the fruit loops onto the second mat*, counting to 100, but in color-coded groups of 10. The fruit loops can then be strung onto a necklace** to wear and display their knowledge of 100 and counting by tens! Print the mats on cardstock and laminate to ensure durability. This game is called Dump It! What you do is put a set amount of red and yellow math counters into a cup. Students will shake the cup and dump it in their tray. They then will count how many counters landed yellow and how many landed red and write that number on the sheet. They have so much fun with this activity!
