I created and used this project with my second and third grade students while studying animals, plants, and habitats. We completed this following the unit of study, so they already knew locations, characteristics, weather, animals, and plants of each habitat. The habitats that we studied were grasslands, oceans, deserts, rainforests, and tundras.
