This 12-page document introduces a conventional 4 by 4 operation puzzle that contains dominoes and L-shaped triominoes. Tables are used to explore different possible arrangements and to determine the candidates associated with the puzzle's cells. For cages in which the same value can appear more than once (i.e. L-shaped triominoes), algebraic arguments are also used. These involve working with a perfect square number and using the parity rules for addition.
