Fraction Caterpillar!
Create a fraction caterpillar! This wonderful math activity for primary students provides a visual model for fractions.
Students use sticker dots (or colored circle of another type-be creative!) to make a caterpillar. I've sometimes added wiggly eyes and pipe cleaner antennae to make it fun!

Pizzeria Fractions Menu
I use this with a game to teach fraction up to eighths. We set up a Pizzeria in the classroom. I divide class into two teams. One team will place the order using this menu and the other team will deliver the correct amount of pizza. Then the teams switch roles. The game difficulty could be modified for any age K-4.
