TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching Biology and life sciences for over 6 years. My experience ranges from teaching inclusion and Sheltered Instruction ESL/ELL all the way to teaching AP Biology. During that time I have also written curriculum for Biology in multiple districts and I currently serve as the Science PLC lead in my high school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I prefer to design and develop 5E-style lesson plans. I feel this style of lesson plan provides room both for direct instruction and student exploration which peaks student interest and maximizes learning.
