TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching for over five years in a rural Southwestern Wisconsin school district. I teach English/Language Arts at both the middle school and high school levels. I also provide reading intervention to our struggling readers.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I look for opportunities to give students choices in their learning. Designing assignments, projects, and activities based on multiple intelligence theory is a priority for me. Aligning classroom work, especially writing, with authentic experiences is also important to me.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I received my B.A. in Secondary Education-English in 2010 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2015, I received my Master of Education degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

My two wonderful children (ages 5 and 7 mos.) keep me hopping and motivated! My husband supports me in countless ways. Family is everything. :) A part of teaching that I've always loved is creating my own materials and units. All the materials that I sell on TpT have been user-tested by me and my students in the classroom. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do. Feedback is always welcome!
