Dee Dee McGinnis

I have 14 years teaching experience. I began my career as a 1st grade teacher and have since taught 4th and 5th graders. I have been named Teacher of the Year as a first grade teacher and Teacher of the Year as a fourth grade teacher. I have also spent five years as a university supervisor, evaluator, and mentor for elementary student teachers. I am an Elementary Education Pearson edTPA scorer.

I believe in hands-on learning activities which incorporate visual aids, songs, and the arts. My products include lesson plans, engaging learning materials, and assessments. My goal is to create lessons in such a way that students enjoy the work in such an engaging way that the learning is FUN!
