I have taught for more than 11 years across all grades from 6th grade to 12th in the state of Massachusetts. I am fully licensed and have a Master's in Adolescent Education. My specialty is Middle School History, specifically world geography and history, as well as Ancient Civilizations. I have taught remedial, grade level, and honors courses. All of my classes are full-inclusion classes.
I am a holistic instructor that focuses on a full-inclusion in the classroom. I like guided discussions and socratic seminars as well as intentional small group work. I expect my students to read every day, write every day, and speak every day. Everyone is a participant. We adhere to a few class expectations: Work Hard. Be Nice. Participate Fully. We are a team together.

I am a reader, writer, teacher, and student of the world. I enjoy hiking and bringing history to life for my students. I explore constantly. I run everywhere. I am a cross country coach and have run every day since December 28, 2012 without a day off. I frequent old cemeteries and have a goal of exploring every national park.
