TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I served as an elementary school counselor for 8 years prior to moving back into the classroom 5 years ago. Currently, I am a first grade teacher.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I strive to create interactive, engaging, and fun lessons that not only grab my students' attention, but also help them reach their educational goals.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I won my district's "Making a Difference Award," which was given by my principal and superintendent. I also won "Teacher of the Year" in my district for the 2020-2021 school year.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

M.Ed. in School Counseling from Ohio University in 2009. B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Bowling Green State University in 2007.
