TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I work in the UK and teach year 3/4 (3rd and 4th grade). I am always looking for interesting ways to hook children into trickier material to help them extend their learning as well as enjoying it!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I would say I'm a relaxed and easy-going teacher (not to be confused with lazy!) I am strict when I want to be but I believe in giving children the chance to expand their skills and talents beyond reading, writing and maths and for them to take responsibility for their own learning! Of course though, I will help them along their journey!!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I went to school (shock!) and also university (horror!). After doing really soul detroying odd jobs, I went to South Korea to teach EFL for a year. I loved it, trained to become qualified in the UK, got a job in a small village school and have been here ever since!
