TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hi, I'm Amanda and I'm the creator and designer of products at Willow House Counseling. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker and a school-based clinical therapist specializing in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and play therapy. I love developing creative ways to engage students and help them reach their goals, whether it's in a one-on-one session, a small group, or a classroom lesson.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use a variety of interventions with students to help them achieve their goals, including play therapy, CBT, narrative therapy, bibliotherapy, dramatic play, ARC, TF-CBT, and trauma-informed counseling. Within my workshops and groups I utilize a hybrid teaching style, relying primarily on a combination of facilitation, demonstration, and delegation.
