Social Story-Classroom Respect
This is a story that can be read with elementary or middle school students. It discusses students who talk in class and how that affects the teacher. There is a focus on learning empathy. Have students read the story and then lead a discussion or journaling. You can have them talk about similar personal experiences or brainstorm additional solutions/endings to the story.
